First and foremost, your Basestation is VITAL to having great data!!
Position your base in a good location. This consists of making sure it is first in an open area. Not in a area that is surrounded by buildings, or underneath anything such as trees.
Set your base up via tripod/bipod.
Make sure your measurements of the height of the base are correct!
TURN ON YOUR BASESTATION
To get an accurate position of where your base is you can go to https://www.ngs.noaa.gov/OPUS/ You must convert your base into a Rinex file choose the .18O Rinex file.
